Benefits Of Laser Cutting

During laser cutting, a beam of high-density light energy is focused through a tiny hole of a nozzle. When this beam strikes the surface of the work piece, the material of the work piece is vaporized.

This non-contact process provides precision cutting, sealed edges, reduced rework and improved look. The laser is under complete computer control providing tight positioning and repeatability tolerances. Cuts have near-zero dross (burrs), minimizing secondary polishing and improving the part’s appearance. Intricate, complex cuts are performed on a wide variety of materials and thicknesses.
